New flats for market town
The first phase of a new residential development in the heart of Skipton sold out on just two weeks.
Half of the 46 apartments at Providence Quarter, off Newmarket Stree, went on the market before Christmas as part of the initial release and were snapped up by first-time buyers, professionals and downsizers. The centrepiece of the development is the former Skipton Building Soccer office, once described by Prince Charles as and “out-of-scale monster” which has undergone a sympathetic transformation. The one and two-bedroom flats start at £95,000
